got my mojo workin...

...been feeling the creativity this weekend...
thank you cards for holiday gifts - done & ready to mail.
art journal pages done - 3!
new blog banner - done. (not my favorite so will likely change soon...)

and...i signed up to make one of these via Mary Ann Moss' class! hoping to start gathering papers & ephemera this afternoon. i am slightly nervous about the sewing - but what better way to break in the new sewing machine, right? if mine turns out even halfway as beautiful as the other gals' journals are - i'll be in pure heaven.

kirk and i even went out and got creative in public this weekend - yes, i took my little lovely moleskine and did a bit of drawing at coffee depot while kirk worked on writing a script for another contest entry he is involved in with a friend. it was good times...good times. i realized, however, that drawing is NOT like riding a bicycle, and i am extremely rusty. but it was energizing.

back is feeling much better today, guess it just needed to lay flat for a couple of days.

so here's to creativity...and hoping it sticks around for awhile...
